May 26, 2012 - The more you hear someone's voice the less you notice their accent. It's like that with my boyfriend--he has a slight accent (which everyone finds British, but it's more of just a random accent) but after I've been listening to him for a few years now, I don't notice his accent. Yet, random people who meet him always ask "Are you British?" so, apparently, he still has his accent.
